Nursery Provision

We are delighted to be able to offer 30 hours of childcare in our Nursery. For further information or to arrange a visit please click here to contact us.

The Nursery at Lark Rise Academy is an integral part of the school and gives the children a fabulous start to their educational journey. It provides a caring and nurturing environment with dedicated and experienced staff; the children’s personal, social and emotional development is key to this.

We welcome children into our Nursery the term after their third birthday and have three intakes per academic year:

  • September:  for children born between April and August
  • January: for children born between September and December
  • April: for children born between January and March

The Nursery sessions are:

  • Morning : 8.45am to 11.45am
  • Afternoon : 12.20pm to 3.20pm

Children start with afternoon sessions (unless staying for 30 hour provision) and then transfer to morning sessions (and stay all day if attending for 30 hours). To ensure that the children can benefit from all aspects of the Early Years curriculum, we expect children to attend five days a week (whether 15 or 30 hours).

Applications for places in the nursery should be made by completing the form below and returning it to the school office (office@larkrise.com)

For further information on eligibility for 30 hour funding, please visit https://www.childcarechoices.gov.uk/

Applications for joining the main school are made during the Autumn term prior to the Reception year group your child will be joining.  We will remind you of this at the appropriate time and give you further information on how we will support your child’s transition.
